The relationship granted by the owner to the tenant is the result of a precise selection process. The lease is granted to a particular individual on who we have done comprehensive verifications in order to ensure that we rent to a person who will respect not only his financial obligations but also those as important as his relations with the other residents of the building.

That is why the Association of Quebec Landlords (APQ) has intervened in the context of Bill n°67: An Act mainly to improve the regulation of tourist accommodation. Indeed, in some cases the owners may find it interesting to be able to rent their homes for a short term or even allow their tenants to do so.
