The Gazette officielle du Québec has published a draft Regulation modifying the Regulations concerning the warranty of new residential buildings. The modifications proposed aim at:
• bringing corrective measures to problematic situations identified during the evaluation of the program and in current practice;
• re-examining of the fundamental parameters of the warranty plan in response to particular problems (e.g. cases of pyrrhotite in the region of Trois-Rivières).
