On behalf of the Association des Propriétaires du Québec (APQ), I congratulated the new Minister of Housing, Mme France-Élaine Duranceau on her new mandate at Housing.
I look forward to working together with her and her Ministry as partners and allies in rental real estate to advance important issues and maintain a healthy rental stock.
We also thanked Mme Andrée Laforest, who remains Minister of Municipal Affairs, for her four years in the field. Mme Laforest was proactive with Bill 16 and listened carefully to the rental housing owners’ community.
The Association des Propriétaires du Québec (APQ) will continue to advocate for rental housing owners to obtain satisfactory changes necessary for a healthy rental stock.
