Since nearly half of fires causing damage to buildings originate from human causes, one may think that the risk is multiplied when living in a multi-unit dwelling: cooking errors, negligence, unattended appliances, smoking materials, or even deliberate behavior.
Let us recall that the tenant has the obligation to use the dwelling with prudence and diligence, which notably means not causing damage to the dwelling.
