In the case at hand, the Landlord had sent to the tenant the rental increase form via e-mail address through a platform that shows that the tenant opened the e-mail (it did not confirm that the tenant downloaded the pdf though). The tenant later asked the landlord for a paper copy of the rental increase, but the landlord didn’t provide one believing the e-mail was sufficient. The tenant then refused the rental increase many months later.
