The go-ahead of the most important residential real estate project and health services of the Montreal North Shore, le Carrefour régional des générations began in Saint-Eustace. The investment envisaged is valued at more than 100M$.
During the next five years, the Bâtimo Group intends to develop a crossroads which will gather various types of dwellings and services, that is to say more than eight hundred residences intended for elderly people as well as a multidisciplinary private clinic into which a pharmacy and a nursery will be integrated in particular.
This real estate project will count five phases and will allow the creation of some 200 jobs.
Construction work of phase I of the project, the residence of care Les Monarches for people in loss of autonomy, will begin in the next few weeks, so as to be able to accomodate 98 elderly people in light loss of autonomy in the summer of 2010.
Phase II will make it possible for 99 other people to settle there before the end of next year.
The whole of the residents of the Carrefour régional des générations and the citizens of Saint-Eustace will also have access, at the beginning of the winter of 2010, to many health services thanks to the Clinique des générations , a private medical centre which envisages recruitment of several health professionals and which constitutes phase III of the project.
